EXTENSION OF AHMED BASHIR ALABADI SCHOOL

This Old School in Omdurman, which was the first teaching institute
and training school in the early British colonial period more than 80
years ago, was built in the heart of Omdurman city. The current school
buildings are single storey buildings, built on brick bearing walls,
spread over a wide area within the school.
This new extension of concrete structure and brick partition walls has
three floors.
Most of the ground floor space is left as open plan Allowing movement
between the northern and southern parts of the school, this floor also
accommodates the mosque and laboratory. Classrooms are located
on the first and second floors to provide privacy and a quiet teaching
environment.
